Here is a quick piece of advice for all of you using Google AdWords. On account of encountering this ‘problem’ quite often, it becomes useful to provide some advice when viewing adverts.
All those preparing their keywords and adverts using Google AdWords will surely want to eventually take a peek at how the adverts looks on the search engine and/or whether it’s showing. In this situation it is best to jump to Google and search for a certain keyword from a campaign to see how the advert is showing, right? Well, actually, this is not the best method to use…
There are a number of reasons:
For each advert launched for a number of countries/regions, you’ll need to check the local Google versions and make additional linguistic parameter changes in the URL.
What if the advert is showing in only a certain county/region? The method in the first point will not help.
Entering a keyword in the search engine will affect its showing up (impressions).
If you connect to the Internet through a foreign proxy, and the advert is showing in Croatia, for Croatian users — you won’t be able to see the adverts.
So as not to go overboard as to the why a particular advert is not showing, a large number of issues can be resolved by using the Google Ad Preview Tool.
It is actually intended for these situations, simple to use, no registration necessary and completely free.
