The SoMo Borac 2024 conference, held on October 25-26 in Zagreb, was a major event for the digital marketing and tech community. The event featured engaging lectures and panel discussions that covered topics like the latest trends in social media strategies, performance marketing insights, and innovations in app development. Speakers highlighted how AI is transforming digital marketing and discussed the importance of data-driven campaigns in shaping the future of the industry. Learning from real-life examples and case studies from industry peers left us inspired to apply new strategies, push boundaries, and innovate in our own projects.

As technology is giving us something new to work with more and more often, it challenges us to adapt quickly, explore innovative solutions, and leverage these advancements to enhance our strategies and outcomes. This is what the SomoBorac conference was all about!

SeekandHit and My Luxoria for the win in the SoMo Global category

One of the highlights of the conference, as always, was the SoMo Borac Awards ceremony. There were multiple categories in two streams – media and advertising, celebrating everything from Best Digital Campaign to Best Media Feature

The spotlight shone brightly on SeekandHit and our My Luxoria as well, as we were recognized as one of the winners in the highly competitive SoMo Global category. This award recognizes exceptional achievements in sales growth, brand awareness, and other key metrics in markets beyond the Adria region—something our performance marketing team has been achieving for the past six years while working with My Luxoria.

Through precise data collection, geographic targeting, and adaptive ad strategies, SeekandHit has driven campaign effectiveness for My Luxoria, capturing demand across Google, Meta, and Bing. This data-centric approach enabled us to expand seamlessly into new markets with a sister brand launch, enhancing reach and conversion quality.

The ceremony itself had a celebratory atmosphere, honoring achievements across various digital fields, and highlighting the exceptional work being done by teams across the region.

As always, the event didn’t just stop at industry knowledge-sharing or the awards ceremony itself. The SoMo Borac Party was an unforgettable highlight of the event, where attendees let loose after a day of learning and networking. Entertainment was top-notch, with performances by Croatian pop star Indira Forza and rapper Hiljson Mandela, who got the crowd dancing well into the night. The lively atmosphere, filled with music, dancing, and celebration, perfectly complemented the day’s achievements, making it a fitting close to an inspiring and successful event.

With its dynamic mix of education and entertainment, SoMo Borac 2024 left its mark as one of the premier events for digital professionals in the region, setting the stage for future editions and exciting new developments in the industry. The only conclusion left to be made is: See you next year! 😁
